Happy New Year- A Resolution, Blogging 365 for World Peace

2016 is now a thing of the past. We are now into First January 2017. Happy New Year to everyone. May the world prosper, Let peace prevail, Let there be prosperity and all round growth. Let us not be envious of each others growth but find meaningful happiness in serving others. Let us find ways and means of contributing towards the welfare of all the living beings on this planet.

Having said that I wish to take upon a new challenge in an area that I love to drown myself into, The world of Writing. its called the 365 day challenge of continuous blogging. Its going to be tough and mean because each day is never going to be like the previous one, bound to be challenges, There will be days when I do not feel like writing at all, those are the days when I have to pick myself up to get into that creative flow.

There is a lot to be done. Personally 2016 was a gratifying one for me. Life yet again presented me the opportunity to travel places in the North East. As a part of the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini programme, I could travel to Assam, Sikkim,West Bengal and parts of Tamil Nadu. The best part of the programme is that you get to see happiness on the faces of children and those moments are the ones where you can experience Divinity. I say this because that smile brings forth an internal peace, a sense of achievement, a prayer answered, and all of a sudden your own problems seem miniscule. I have personally decided to make an impact in the field of education. I feel that an Education system that provides not only a degree but an all round integral education that inculcates human values is the way forward and the only way towards fostering responsible citizens for the country and that is exactly what this program aims to achieve.

A cyclone that ripped apart the greenery in the city of Chennai, a dear departed leader, a father and son squabble, a new scheme that locked up your money safely in the banks. Yet the ability to bounce back from the worst kind of situation is what gives solace and a new direction to life. Anger, Frustration Yes, Hope,confidence,faith and intelligence even bigger.

World concern remains, the climate changes, depletion of green cover, pollution, are all man made made problems for vested interests. At the core of the issue lies the solution. Requires human intervention to solve a problem that was created by man himself. A little bit of concern for the environment at the individual level is all that is required to solve the problem. Plant more Trees, Say no to Plastics, and a big participation from the corporate side will see us leaving the planet in much better shape for generations to come.

Violence raises its ugly hood time and again. Terror left a deep inedible mark in all our hearts in 2016 as well. If you look at the crux of this problem the root cause has to be Money and Desires. If only there were a Ceiling on Desires. Nuclear Threat looms large over humanity at any point of time. Pointers clearly to the heads of the nation coming together and doing their large bit for the cause of humanity and world peace.

If given an opportunity that each of my words would lead to Peace and Love all over the world, then I would not mind keeping this flow going for an entire lifetime. In the days to come, I will write a lot and would encourage you to keep giving me your feedback, that will keep me sustained for the next 365 days.
